What the FOG

What the FOG

WHAT THE FOG?!

Poem by ARAWMANTICKS

"Beneath a sky of green and gold,
Four figures stand, both brave and bold.
Their hands raised high, their eyes intent,
On distant truths, vague and bent.

The fog rolls in, a silent tide,
Where answers wait, and doubts reside.

Yet still they peer, they do not flee—
For vision starts with mystery.
What lies ahead, they cannot know,
But onward through the mist they go.

In every haze, a hidden spark—
A light that flickers in the dark.

Through the fog, we shield and strain,
Searching for truths in a hazy domain."

The artwork titled "WHAT THE FOG?!" presents a striking triangular composition bordered in red, framing four silhouetted figures gazing into the distance. Their posture—hands shielding eyes—evokes a sense of searching, perhaps for clarity in a world clouded by ambiguity. The green backdrop and yellow horizon suggest a surreal landscape, where perception is challenged and meaning is elusive.

This piece speaks to the human condition: our instinct to seek understanding even when the path is obscured. The bold, almost humorous title juxtaposes confusion with determination, inviting viewers to reflect on how we navigate uncertainty—not with fear, but with curiosity and resolve. It’s a visual metaphor for the fog of modern life, and the courage it takes to look beyond it.
