"FROM THAT FIRST SIGHT, MY EYES AIN’T LET GO OF HER;
They held her tight, imprisoned her and judged her;
They found her innocent while she sentenced me for life;
And before I had the chance to say hello she says goodnight;
Declaring war on romance, a hit n’ run;
Like a ship trying to set anchor on a violent ocean;
But I was the storm, n’ that’s just a whiff of my emotions;
And we could never find shore unless we shared that exact same devotion.
And if she ever succeeds then I would be the land she steps onto;
With a greater force of gravity that I’m almost attached to you;
Now you got me thinking if Newton’s breakthrough was true;
Cause to your heart a way through seems too untrue;
Will I put my hands up n’ surrender to a dream I can’t pursue;
I’ll only have them up when I’m waiting to catch you."
