Symmetry: The Sacred Mirror
Poem by ARAWMANTICKS
"Symmetry is found / in flesh and form — /
Right and left, / a mirrored norm. /
Like mandalas spun / in a sacred trance, /
Their balance draws / the inward glance. //
Is this why / we find them fair? /
A whisper / of the cosmos there. /
My body’s a mandala, / nerves like vines, /
Branches of being / in symmetrical lines. //
Organs in orbit, / thoughts in a ring, /
Geometry hums / in the songs we sing. /
This world has a mirror, / unseen but near, /
With roots that reach / where dreams appear. //
Faces reflect / in the halves of the skin, /
Left mirrors right — / and the soul lies within. /
Petals bloom / in perfect sway, /
Circles weave / where patterns play. //
A pyramid rises, / sharp and true, /
Balance and beauty / in every hue. //"

In the quiet geometry of nature, symmetry doesn’t just please the eye — it invites contemplation. Its a pattern that resonates with something deeper: balance, order, and the echo of the cosmos. In this week’s feature, we explore the poetic resonance of symmetry through both word and design.
The poem “Symmetry, is found in flesh and form” invites us to see ourselves as living mandalas — intricate, mirrored patterns of memory, thought, and breath. Just as the petals of a flower unfold in perfect proportion, or the branches of a tree reach out in mirrored grace, so too does the human form echo the cosmos in its design.
Our featured mandala artwork, blooming with floral motifs and branching lines, is more than decoration. It is a meditation — a visual mantra that draws the eye inward, toward the center of self. Each curve and reflection is a reminder that within us lies a quiet order, a sacred symmetry that connects us to something greater.
In a world that often feels fragmented, symmetry offers solace. It tells us that harmony is possible — not just in art or nature, but within our own being.
Let this piece be a mirror. Look closely. What do you see?
